Refinitiv

We worked closely with Refinitiv to deliver Product Studio II, a business critical application that helps manage third-party content, from sourcing and on-boarding through to content packaging and delivery. Product Studio II extracts, transforms and loads information from multiple sources across the Refinitiv business and provides a unique window into the business product catalogue.

Product Studio II allows users to examine the service components of Refinitiv's products and all the constructs that support a product's entitlement and permissioning, as well as the content items that comprise a product or service. Going forward, Product Studio II will play a key role in the transformation of content-related business processes, particularly in the consolidation, discovery and analysis of commercial rights and obligations.

Thomson Reuters

We built a real time monitoring system for Reuters Messaging. The system collected telemetry, which was presented to engineers via configurable, web based dashboards that are displayed across Thomson Reuters data centres.

Ed Kennedy, Head of Collaboration Services Infrastructure at Thomson Reuters, said "When we needed a real time monitoring solution Riverside Internet created a system that delivered exactly what we wanted. Real time graphics, alerts, service checks and reminders for certificate renewals (plus a raft of others). Riverside Internet's ability to turn our requirements into reality, surpassed my expectations."

Kick off

An informal chat allows us to determine the scope of your software development project. This is followed by more formal discussions, the output of which is a statement of work that defines requirements, deliverables, timeframe and payment schedule.

Build

Once a statement of work is agreed, engineers are assigned to your project and the build begins. We work in an agile way that delivers results early and often and we encourage stakeholder feedback throughout the software development life cycle.

Support

We cherish the relationships we build with our clients. After the build and deployment stages complete, it doesn't have to be goodbye. Our engineers are on hand to provide you with ongoing support and to answer any questions you may have.

Our network of engineers have years of experience designing and building complex, business critical applications, consisting of multiple components (aka microservices) that integrate with other systems.

Cloud

Where possible we advocate deploying software in the public cloud. Our engineers are skilled in deploying new software or migrating existing on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

Websites

Our content management system, Riverside CMS, allows us to rapidly build and deploy mobile friendly websites that are fast, secure and optimised for search engines to ensure maximum user engagement.

A history of Riverside Internet, from incorporation to the present day.

Incorporation

Riverside Internet was founded in 1999 by Mike Puddephat. The company, initially called Easy Measure, was created to distribute software that Mike wrote as part of his PhD to estimate brain surface area and volume from Magnetic Resonance Imaging scans using stereology.

Journey

Over time the focus of the company shifted towards the delivery of software solutions for financial clients such as Thomson Reuters and Refinitiv. This shift was accompanied by a new name, reflecting the company's location beside the river in Kingston upon Thames.

Today

Now based in Croydon, we work with a wide variety of clients that span multiple industry sectors, from startups to large corporations. Our network of engineers allows us to make good on our mission to empower businesses to achieve more through great software.
