The Page Whose Forum Threads Are Displayed field is used to specify a web page. You can specify a web page by entering its title. If more than one web page exists with the same title, you must be more specific about how you select a web page. For example, suppose your website contains two folders with title "2008", one with parent folder "Photos" and the other with parent folder "Events". Then you would need to enter "Photos, 2008" or "Events, 2008" rather than "2008". If the web page specified in this field contains a forum element, then the latest threads element will display that forum's most recent threads.

If a web page of type folder or home is entered into the Page Whose Forum Threads Are Displayed field, then the Recursive check box is applicable. In this case, ticking the Recursive check box causes the latest threads element to be populated from all forums that belong to the specified web page and all child web pages.

The Page Whose Forum Threads Are Displayed field can be left blank. In this case, the field will automatically be updated so it is set to the value of the currently active web page. This is useful if a latest thread element is placed in a zone on a web page near the root of your website. This content may then be inherited by web pages further down your web page hierarchy. However, whenever a web page that inherits this content is viewed, the latest threads element will automatically update to show the latest threads that are posted on forums on the active web page (and on all web pages below this page if Recursive is checked).

The Page Size field is used to specify the maximum number of threads that are displayed. This field can take any integer value between 1 and 1000.

Finally, when you have finished updating a latest threads element, click the OK button to return to the previous page. You should not use your browser's back button.
