Deleting a Web Page

Instructions on how to remove a web page from your website.

All web pages below the root homepage can be deleted. Click the Delete Page hyperlink in the control panel to start the process of deleting the active web page. You will be taken to an administration page used to perform the actual web page deletion.

If the web page being deleted is of type home or folder and contains child web pages, then these child web pages will also be deleted. These child web pages will then be listed on the administration page used to perform the actual web page deletion as shown below.

It is important to note that when a web page is deleted, all elements that exist only on the web pages you are deleting (and nowhere else on your website) will also be permanently removed. It is not possible to undo a delete web page operation, so you should proceed with extreme care.

Finally, on the administration page used to perform the actual web page deletion, you must confirm whether or not you want to delete the active web page by clicking the Yes or No button.
