• The data centre is 19,800 square feet in size and incorporates the latest technologies in power efficiency, centralised equipment handling and cooling management.
• Efficient design including the use of ambient air cooling, hot-aisle containment and medium voltage power distribution, means the data centre is one of the greenest, most power and efficient in the world.
• There is rapid build out capacity to meet the growing needs of Riverside Internet’s clients.

The data centre has best-of-breed physical infrastructure including:

• Complete cooling, power and fire suppression systems redundancy using the latest dry-pipe and dry-chemical fire suppression systems, modular diverse power distribution and multiple power sources.
• Advanced physical security including biometric identity verification, bulletproof glass, automatic vehicle access controls, zoned data centre access and archived video monitoring.
• Fibre optic connectivity via multiple Gigabit uplinks to multiple Tier 1 bandwidth providers, with diverse underground physical entry points for additional redundancy and security.

The network architecture employed at the data centre allows:

• Complete bandwidth redundancy via multiple peering partners.
• Complete network device redundancy providing multiple network paths to any destination providing 1Gbps speeds to the edge of the network for maximum throughput.
• Enterprise class routers and switches providing technologically advanced scalability and management features.
